From Joe… “This past trip to Spain really has me walking back down memory lane. Wandering the streets of Malaga floored me with waves of so many memories. Both with places I was actually walking past, as well as the countless good times I have had visiting Spain in general. Bilbao, in the north, has always been one of my favorite places since my first time there. Ruben and I would go to the same coffee shop most every day because they told us their coffee was the best because their coffee grinder had stainless steel blades. ( whoops, I meant Titanium) We were sold on it being the best place in town. Ha ha, it never took much convincing with us. Needless to say, we would walk/ride past these bricks just about every day during our visit there. One day I actually brought my camera, and put in a request for Ruben. I think we took 2 tries with this photo and carried on to coffee. It would be another month or 2 before I ever knew if the picture came out. Good ol’ Fuji Neopan film certainly delivered. Many thanks to Bilbao, Aitor and Ruben for the memories. Bilbao, Spain 2003 / T-1 World Tour”. Follow @t1ers

From Joe… “Flying back from Malaga the other day, I received a message from Isaac in the airport. That turned into many more messages back and forth as we were exchanging all things good about the bowl event that went down the other week at Ruben’s park. The ‘roast meters’ at the comp were at an all time high, as this was the kind of stuff Isaac and I would always talk about and get stoked on. I couldn’t help but think how much I would love to see him ride Ruben’s bowl. It would be a sight to see to say the least, but would put you on the edge of your seat the entire time. I’ve never met anyone like Isaac, and I’ve certainly never come across that has run his life as wide open as he has. Always pushing himself to the absolute limit while crossing that line from time to time as well. Almost as if to see if there is a line at all . . . I’m definitely saving a session for you my friend. This was a pic I shot of Isaac mid work day in Chicago in 2007.” Follow @t1ers

Lifted from Scerbo’s Instagram… “Garrett Byrnes has always been one of those people I seem to not really keep time with. No matter how much changes or how long we go without speaking we seem to just pick up, move on and laugh it off. A lot has changed in both our lives since we met but it always somehow stays the same. I took this pic on a drive from NJ to Austin. We randomly hung out one day while I was visiting family and I mentioned I was driving back to TX alone, in true Garrett fashion he just jumped in and took a trip with me. 30 hours in the car and we still managed to stop in Galveston for a session at the DIY and a Harley beach session. Also I am not proud of the fact I used to smoke cigs but when this trip started he suggested I quit, I did at that moment, cold turkey. It made the drive hell but my life is much better since. This guy is the realist, I luckily had the opportunity to get a sneak peak of the Garrett Byrnes documentary. It was incredible. Awesome job by everyone involved, especially Bill Burns, the true star of the film. The world may have gone crazy but luckily we have guys like Garrett still around to maintain a balance. This picture was taken somewhere between Jersey and Texas. 2016.” Follow @skapegoat256 and @gbyrnest1
