OG ELF

With another run of Salt City bars starting to hit stores around the world, it’s a good time to have a look back at Elf’s first signature T-1 bars…

“7.25” rise. At the time they were somewhat of a normal height. Can’t remember the backsweep and upsweep. But I’m pretty sure it was somewhat of the same specs as my bars now. Also I think bars were roughly .065 thick back then. Because I was bending bars so much I had these made extra thick like .083 I think. Which made them pretty heavy but I did not mind. I was so stoked on the sticker Michael made for them. I said I wanted an evil-looking elf with a barbell since the bars were extra strong and what he drew up was better than I could have ever imagined.” - Elf
